We like focussing on the major cities, as well offering curated itineraries, out of the beaten paths.
No matter if you prefer to discover Italy for the first time, or if you want to go enjoy unspoiled dwellings, maybe retracing your family history.
We have direct contacts with lovely country inns and charming hotels or villas.
Our crafted tours can be as long as you like. No limit on group’s number.
Families and friends
We love creating memorable experiences for families and groups of friends. Our expert guides are wonderful with children, ensuring everyone stays engaged. From exciting scavenger hunts to private cooking classes and food tours, we can arrange special events at any time to make your gathering truly unique.
Ancestry tours
It all began with a client, who asked to retrace his family history. We loved that. We started from the local church records, finding baptism certificates. We continued with a journey to unspoiled Calabria villages, and met unknown family members. A unique and special experience. We are happy to help people discovering more about their past.

Here is how we work together:
1. The Discovery Call
Everything begins with a complimentary 30-minute Discovery Call. This is where we get to know you: your pace, your interests, and your must-see destinations. Whether you are searching for top quality hotels, private drivers, expert guides, food experiences and special events, we listen first.
(Further planning assistance has a cost of 75€ per hour, which will be deducted, once you book a package with Being Italy).
2. Your Bespoke Proposal
Based on our chat, we will design a hand-crafted itinerary just for you. This includes personal selection of 4 and 5-star hotels or charming inns, private Mercedes V-Class transfers and tours, museum tickets, and expert-led experiences. We will refine it together until it’s exactly what you looking of.
3. Secure Your Experience
Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll finalize the details. You can settle the deposit securely via Stripe or bank transfer. After that, all you have to do is pack your bags—we’ll handle the rest, from "skip-the-line" tickets to restaurant reservations.
Please check on Terms and Conditions for further details.

Italy is an incredible country made of 20 diverse regions, each with its own unique landscapes, culture, cuisine, and climate. To truly explore the best of Italy, walking is quite important—especially in famous spots like Positano, where the most charming areas are inaccessible by car. Italians walk a lot, and our pedestrian-only zones are the perfect places for shopping, sightseeing, and the classic art of people-watching.
That said, we provide full support for travelers with reduced mobility. We carefully select specific itineraries and partners to ensure that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Italy without barriers.
Please keep in mind that many charming hotels in historical buildings do not have elevators. We always suggest traveling with two smaller suitcases rather than one oversized piece. Navigating Italian train stations—and getting on and off trains—can be a challenge with heavy luggage, even if you are in great shape! Traveling light ensures your journey remains effortless and stress-free.
-
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, last-minute changes, or medical needs. Please note that the initial deposit is non-refundable upon booking. Depending on your tour date, a 50% deposit will be required a few months in advance, with the final balance due 35 days before departure.
While payments are non-refundable, Being Italy is happy to reschedule your package for a new date. Please note that in this case, the total price may be revised to reflect any potential increases in provider costs or seasonal rate adjustments.
-
We are happy to assist you with all your travel arrangements; however, please note that we do not book or sell international airfare.
We provide guidance and help, suggesting the best options for your flights, trains, or cruises. Once your travel is booked, we will coordinate all your arrival and departure transfers to ensure a seamless transition from the moment you land.

Italy enjoys four distinct seasons, though in recent years, summers have become significantly warmer. While we don’t have a specific rainy season, rainfall is most likely to occur in November or during the fresh spring months. (You never know! Summer showers happen too).
We recommend checking the forecast, but rest assured—even a rainy day in Italy has its own charm, in fact we operate rain or shine! Our walking tours will proceed as scheduled regardless of the weather, so we do not offer refunds for rain. We recommend bringing an umbrella or a light raincoat—often, a little rain makes the streets of Italy even more photogenic and peaceful.
For the summer months, we recommend very light, breathable clothes. However, if you are planning some relaxing days in the countryside, remember to bring a light sweater or a wrap for al fresco dinners. Even in the heat of summer, temperatures tend to drop a bit at night, making the evening breeze quite refreshing.
The shoulder seasons can be unpredictable. Dressing in layers is the best strategy to stay comfortable as temperatures change throughout the day.
Winter is the ideal time for museum visits, as you can enjoy Italy’s treasures without the crowds. While a heavy coat is necessary, sunny days are quite frequent and incredibly beautiful. When the sun is out, it can feel surprisingly mild—though we still recommend keeping those layers handy.

Being Italy is a travel agency and we are personal architects for your journey around Italy. We meticulously scout and select the finest hotels, professional drivers, and expert guides, taking the time-consuming logistics off your hands.
To ensure we provide good services to each client, we offer an initial 30-minute complimentary Discovery Call.
For those seeking expert travel advice or detailed consultation without booking a full package, we offer private sessions at a rate of €75 per hour (taxes included). This fee is payable in advance and ensures you receive dedicated, one-on-one expertise to refine your personal travel plans.
Should you choose to proceed with a full bespoke package after our consultation, the initial planning fee will be credited toward your booking. The credit amount will be applied proportionally, based on the complexity and the scale of the final itinerary.
